PROJECT COORDINATOR: Inspire Mental Health Consortium

We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to, as part of the lead Partner of the ‘Inspire’ Mental Health Consortium to co-ordinate the Recovery and Wellbeing Services within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This exciting role will require programme and project management skills as you will be required to manage the infrastructure of the Consortium as well as the line management of two small teams. You will monitor the services together with the consortium partners and will report on outcomes. The post-holder will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied and multi faceted service and to work co-productively with multiple partners.

‘NEW ROLE’ – BUSINESS & ENTERPRISE ADVISOR

The Business and Enterprise Advisor will work clients and service user groups to set up their own businesss or enterprise.  The post is currently for only one day a week but we hope to expand the service.

We operate three successful employment projects but we are increasingly seeing clients who are considering self-employment as their best option.  The Advisor will work alongside the employment teams as some clients may want to pursue both employment and self employment at the same time.

The support will be tailored to the indvidual needs and could range from help on an initial idea through to post launch advice.  Advice will be on a one to one basis and the candidate will need to have a caseload of around five cases at any one time, with an annual target of fifteen support plans.  Although the support is not time limited it may be given in agreed time periods to allow people to work on their business plan at their own speed and circumstances.

The Advisor will also work with service user groups to help them develop their ideas to transform their group to a social enterprise or self sustaining group.

This service is part of the Inspire Consortium’s Recovery and Wellbeing service in Tower Hamlets.  It is based in the Work and Wellbeing Hub which is run by the Working Well Trust.

INSPIRE FIRST POINT OF ACCESS – ADMIN VOLUNTEER

The First Point of Access Service is a gateway to the full range of services that the Inspire Consortium offers and also other opportunities in the wider community, sign-posting and connecting people.  All individuals wanting to access Inspire Mental Health, Recovery & Wellbeing Services will initially be assessed by this service.

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with project support and administration. As an administration volunteer you will be assisting with the implementation of the CRM system across Inspire and ensuring all information is stored correctly.

VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – THAI BOXING ACADEMY

The Thai Boxing Fighters Academy (TBFA) is based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The TBFA is a unique Academy combining Muay Thai Boxing and physical and mental well-being.

INSPIRE SINGING AND WELLBEING VOLUNTEER

We are looking for an individual who loves music! The successful volunteer will support the delivery of singing sessions that teach basic signing skills. The role of the volunteer will be to engage with service users, assist in the delivery of classes to develop singing skills and preparation of the group.

Volunteers will receive an Inspire Volunteer Induction and opportunities to access further training opportunities.

INSPIRE SERVICE USER CHAMPION VOLUNTEER

We at Inspire are looking for ‘Inspire Champions’, who can help our services have maximum impact in the community. This will be a volunteering role involving opportunities to help with Inspire’s “First Point of Access working group”, outreach and much more! This is an ideal opportunity for an Inspire service user who wants to get more involved. The elected Champion will attend a monthly steering group meeting, as well as a bi-monthly Service Involvement Working Group.  Ideally this individual will be an Inspire Mental Health Consortium service user and therefore have knowledge of the services that we offer.

Volunteers will receive an Inspire Volunteer Induction and opportunities to access further training opportunities.

We are looking for a committed individual for a period of six months, with a review of the role following this period.

INSPIRE REPORTER

We are looking for an individual who will visit Inspire’s Service User Involvement groups to record and report good news stories from service users, staff and carers with the support of the project workers. This role is flexible, ad hoc and ideal for someone who has an interest for communications, journalism and a flare for storytelling!
