The Inspire Involvement and Co-Production Service held a ‘Wellbeing and Spirituality Workshop’ event on the 10th November at the Osmani Centre in Tower Hamlets. The event was based around different spirituality, health and wellbeing practices.

The days aim was to reengage with the community and provide information on what services the Inspire Consortium provides and to give people information on how they might get involved.

The event proved to be very popular with well over 80 people attending.

At the event there was an array of stall holders providing different information and lots of presentations for people to listen to and engage with including;

*How to get involved in The Involvement and Co-Production Services

*Peer support

* What is co-production

*A presentation from Orassy on Spirituality and its benefits

The event was rounded  off with a fabulous performance from the Song Birds, who are a singing for wellbeing group and are part of the SUN (Service User Network) Groups in the Borough.

Charlotte Spirgel-Sinclair, the Involvement and Co-Production Manager said:

 “This was a great opportunity to engage with the community and let people know what is on offer around Health and Wellbeing in the Borough of Tower Hamlets. I am looking forward to the next event where we will take all of the feedback given to make future events even better!”

Amy Colwill, Inspire Project Co-Ordinator said:

‘’It was great to see so many people attending this Mental Health awareness event and was a fantastic opportunity for the Inspire Involvement and Co-production Service to reengage with the community and let people know about the developments that have occurred over the last few months. This includes a newly invigorated  Peer Support  & Co-production Service. The presentations were interactive and informative and a performance by the brilliant singing group Songbirds was a great way to end the day’’.
